Stylish & sparkling wedding photography capturing your day with a personal touch

As a wedding photographer, it’s my passion and goal to tell a story: about you, your loved ones and one of the most beautiful days in your lives. It’s a story full of emotion, humor and beautiful moments, mixed with a couple of great portraits of the two of you. After a day of shooting I know that I’ve captured moments you’ll treasure for the rest of your lives and that is what makes my job so great!

My name is Evert Doorn and I’m a Dutch wedding photographer shooting weddings and engagement sessions. I live in the lovely town of Bussum (which is very conveniently located between Amsterdam and Utrecht), with my wife who also happens to make our bespoke wedding albums and our cats. If I’m not out shooting, I love spending time with friends (dinner parties please!), running and going to the gym (have you tried boxing classes yet? – you’ll love it!), reading books (the list grows longer and longer), watching movies or series (and yes, I do seem to favour the ones with better cinematography) and photographing wildlife in remote places in Africa (insta handle: @thewildsite).

My style is a mix of photojournalism, capturing real emotions and moments, with creative artistry for the portrait session. Furthermore, we (and I’m saying ‘we’ because of my amazing wife who is a book binder) deliver exclusive bespoke wedding albums, 100% handmade in our own studio, to tell the story of your day in a unique and beautiful way.
