Amazing, I guess that’s the only word to describe Jacob and Egbert’s wedding at the Hooge Vuursche venue.

I ‘met’ them earlier this year thru Skype thanks to their wedding planner, Margot from Magnificent Weddings who helped them out with the planning and organisation of the wedding (Egbert’s originally from the Netherlands, in fact from the same town where I live, but they live in Singapore).

And finally, after so many months of anticipation, the big day was there. It turned out to be everything they hoped for. I always enjoy shooting weddings with a mix of nationalities, but it was heartwarming to see such an incredible amount of friends coming all the way over here to celebrate this day with them (there were people from more than 15 countries or maybe even more!). Everyone was having a great time and that’s so important at a wedding.

To top it off, the lovely people of the location and wedding planner Amanda who helped out Margot on the day itself, did their very best to ensure everything went as smooth as possible.

Jacob and Egbert, it was great seeing you enjoying every bit of it. A very big congratulations to the both of you!
