One of the last weddings this year took place at quite a special venue: the new Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Amsterdam.

I was quite keen on shooting a wedding here, and it met all my expectations! A place with grandeur, great people and fantastic food (couldn’t miss, with a 2-Michelin star restaurant Librije’s Zusje and the very good Goldfinch brasserie). For this particular wedding, a private diner was organised.

What’s great about this place is that every part of the day can take place here: from preparation to dinner or party. The very central location right in the heart of the city is also very appealing.

I certainly hope to return here one day and who knows – maybe as your wedding photographer of choice!
