As a photographer, participating in photo contests is very important for your development. In recent years, wedding photography has seen an immense increase in quality and the quality of the contests demonstrates that.

As a member of the international Fearless Photographers organisation, and the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers too, I count myself very lucky to have won several awards in recent years. Locally, we have the Masters of Dutch Wedding Photography which was introduced last year and immediately took the crown of the best Dutch photo awards for wedding photography with a steller international jury and amazing images. I’m really proud of every wedding photographer in the world contributing to raising the bar in our line of work!
